are you sure that the n and u are right.
I think maybe NAEVUS =birthmark e.t.c. but don't like it as an answer

The N and U appear to be correct and the third letter might be M.

one meaning of nimbus is halo (you know ,what saints have around head. looks like that's the answer. a bit iffy but it looks right.
