Just to let you know if anyones interested, I've just picked up Wednesdays Times newspaper and seen that the entry crossword is in for this years championships.
It's the second qualifying puzzle published of four, but if you can't get a copy, the 3rd and 4th are gonna be published on May 4th and June 1st. You only need to enter one of them.
Thing is, it's £15 to enter and then another £10 if you get an invite to the final championship.
But as we know, you have to be pretty damn good to get into the finals, a bit above my station, but would like to know if anyone from the forum is gonna give it a go.

I tried the entry crossword and did it in 56 minutes, but I used a dictionary to check a few, especially 1 Down, I'd never heard of the word.
Do you have the use of a dictionary in the finals to check spellings and references?

No reference books allowed.
