Hi.

"Hear on stage Victor's last stifled 'I don't believe it!'?" = 'catchphrase'. (I know about Victor Meldrew, just don't quite get the clue..)

"Back problem in drill (3)" = B-R.

Many thanks

Hi pooksahab,

To hear = to catch, stage = phase, Victor's last = r. ("?" at the end means the whole clue gives the definition)

rub = problem (Aye, there's the rub)backwards gives Bur - a type of drill attachment (sometimes burr).
