Can anyone help me with these last two clues? Sometimes the little ones are the worst.

21a. "So bowled over by a Sicilian lover (4)" -C-S and
43a. "Daily fails to start sweeping round house (4)" S-M-

Daily fails to start sweeping round house

Could it be SEMI(type of house)?

Times(daily paper) fail's to start - backwards.

Maybe ??

Acis perhaps from Acis and Galatea? He was certainly a lover, although in Greek mythology.

Acis it is, Eleanor, and thank you. I've just Googled it and discovered that, in Ovid's Metamorphoses, Acis was the spirit of the Acis River in Sicily.
