It means that you have to change a few answers but how about DUMBFOUNDING?

yes with UMBRA and NOONTIDE

or NOONTIME

UMBRA has only 5 letters.
What about UBIETY ?

yes ubiety,sorry I was thinking of ghosts and didn't realise the number of letters.I prefer noontide though,Chambers doesn't give noontime
