I've got the answer and can understand the wordplay except for "Film about light" - I have assumed "Film" is a 2 letter title 'about/around' a word meaning "light" but can't see how the 4 letter word I have fits this description.
Any help appreciated.

Now you mention it I think it rings a faint bell with me - I think I've seen this used in a crossword before maybe by Araucaria himself. I looked up "light" in my dictionary and couldn't find anything that fitted - don't know why I didn't but should have looked up "very" - it's there - invented by S. W. Very 1877!
