Thanks for your replies. Timber Wolf was the answer to a clue in Monday's Times crossword. I could not find a definition of it so wondered what it was. The clue was...'extremely low bite from wild animal'

It's an anagram (wild) of BITE FROM + the L & W (extremes) from low.
