I see they are running a competition to find the best song for next years Int Wom Day.

You have to name a popular song and say why you think it particularly suitable.

I'll kick off with "girls just wanna have fun" because it's upbeat and great to do the hoovering to.

And obviously Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman.
All the world's waiting for you,
and the power you possess.

In your satin tights,
Fighting for your rights
And the old Red, White and Blue.

Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman.
Now the world is ready for you,
and the wonders you can do.

Make a hawk a dove,
Stop a war with love,
Make a liar tell the truth.

Wonder Woman,
Get us out from under, Wonder Woman.
All our hopes are pinned on you.
And the magic that you do.

Stop a bullet cold,
Make the Axis fall,
Change their minds, and change the world.

Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman.
You're a wonder, Wonder Woman.

Ahha!

Fact...A small child once thought I was Wonder Woman. Followed me round Safeways asking me to "twirl and change". What a hunny, had to smack him, obviously. did not want to blow my cover.

Pastille,
It's a nice little ditty, I'll grant you that. But as woman have not evolved beyond the iron(ing) age I can't really see what it has to offer.

Tonyw,
Perhaps Helen's "love, sex and money" would be better. Probably best to play down the gender bender thing.

I was once a man trapped in a woman's body. But then I was born.

Did you read celandon poser of the day?
I did laugh but do you think it really is true or apocryphal?

Yes,funny, but apocryphal. There is an earlier story of a similar conversation on an american tv quiz show. Last question was "where is the best place you and the wife have made love". I expect you can guess the answer.

Pastille,

I'm not trying to make anybody rise to anything. I just think this site has got a bit boring of late so I started this stupid thread. Your responses were great. But there sure are some pretty humourless people here. Did you see Karen's offer to kill herself (rt thread) in response to a light hearted comment. I think my time is nearly up.
