Golly, it's quiet.

So here's a quick clue to fill the void ...

Too easy for you Terry!

By the way, the alpaca ran away and hasn't returned yet. I've left a bowl of milk out to lure it.

Congratulations - not a word I ever had cause to use before! Aren't mobile communications wonderful?

JimC,
I assumed the answer referred to the crossroads in Oxford, supposed to be the dead centre of the city. Are you saying it's some sort of in-car communication system.

p.s. Not sure alpacas like milk.

First stab, not confident - "strong headed"?

Hi Ab.

Sorry for the delay - I'm not here all the time.

I see where you are coming from with "strong-headed" although it isn't the answer I had in mind.

The answer I had in mind wouldn't work with any other brand of beer and as it's a lager I'm not even sure XXXX should be described as strong-headed (I may be wrong though!).

OK JimC, you seemto have stumped us. I've had a few beers myself tonight so please forgive me if I ramble a bit.

XXXX is an Australian beer and is pronounced as Fourex. One of their brands is XXXX(Fourex) Bitter. Quite how you could square this with "good sense" is beyond me, other than we can sense bitter, sweet, etc. Am I getting there?

P.S.
I asked a question about your carfax thing earlier, if you aren't too busy chasing the alpaca could you let me know please.
