I set crossies just for pleasure. I wonder if some of you excellent regulars would like to try a few of my clues? Since they're new, no letters!
It’s been suggested that solutions are withheld till 5 pm to allow others to have a go.

1. Can be picked to return in black (10)
2. Adherent then jumps on the spot (5,3,4)
3. Before out of date small skirts (8)
4. Hops from inertial guidance system to astronavigation (6)
5. Indian ashram challenge, to assuage shaky foreigners in sixty seconds (8)

Well done.

Four easyish clues of a Telegraph standard & one tricky one.
We'll see what 5 pm brings.

Thank you Tony and well done too.

Although I've nor done the Telegraph for years, I would have hoped my clues would be at about that level. It's nice you 'saw' this. I am unable to clue above this level without using more difficult words, which I don't want to do.

Off now to celebrate St. David's Day.

Dydd Gwyl hapus i bawb!

Yes, I was waiting for Tony as well. It's hard to see what the point of his 11.31a.m. posting was, apart from telling us how clever he is.
