Thanks chaps, SCABBARD would seem to fit the clue. But that leaves me with a problem with 5d..."Where it's not lively, in the main". I did have CALM SEA but I guess this now can't be correct. I am left with D?L? SEA, which doesn't seem right. Any more help would be appreciated !
