Did you that know these first started in the Daily Express and DitLoID is an acronym for Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich?

However, that's not the reason I posted a response. What is the subject matter?

Hi Mysterygal,

I have to admit that, without some sort of theme, I am going to fall into the trap of saying, to start with, that DCM is [correctly] the Distinguished Conduct Medal which is blindingly obvious!

Give me some examples of answers which you've got already please.

Best wishes,

Caravaggio

Hi Mysterygal,

When I said 'blindingly obvious' in the previous post, I wasn't being rude to you! What I meant was that it was blindingly obvious to ME.

Apologies,

Caravaggio

They are ditloids so its 44 DCM
as in 3 BM 3 blind mice
so the 44 has to be in the saying

Hi Mysterygal,

I thought that the numbers prefacing the entries in your post were the numbers of the questions!

I had better redeem myself quickly and come up with some answers for you...

Regards,

A shamefaced Caravaggio.

No problem it made me smile as you had gone to the trouble to tell me how they started but I can see your confusion

i think the first answer is
4 hands playing harmoniously in piano duet.

its the only thing i can think of that fits in but
seems to sound a bit clumsy
