Last couple of letters:
16a I have _ole and just can't see it from the clue.
22a Chambers goves both lingster and linkster and can't work out which is correct.

HALE, inits of A Lady in HE, HALE = drag.

For anyone wondering, the clues are:

16a Drag: male dressing as lady initially (4).
22a US interpreter of excellent quality but arsy-versy (8)

"lingster" is an anagram of 'sterling'.
