Hello Les, my origional post was deleted but not the offensive language of the first post which caused all the trouble. Plus the word t..t has appeared and no one batted an eye.

trevor,

please try to use the official typing m.o. for crudities. e.g. t3t for your word,f2k,bo4ks,etc.
mind you seems to fall down a bit with t1t.

i don't know why, but your last post had me laughing like a (insert a rude one here),a very rare event.

Wendy,
i quote
"t..t has appeared and no one batted an eye."
my post had 2 batting eyes and was kicked into touch.

Oh dear - I don't know whether to laugh or cry!

The "Wendy" who started this thread is definitely not me!

I don't even know what t??t means...? Is it tart?

I am most certainly the Wendy who e-mailed Ash and I also love Les40s crosswords.

Good Lord! OK so it's not tart, I saw the word a few threads back. I truly thought it just meant twerp, or idiot. We used to say it was a pregnant goldfish when we were kids. I've just looked it up and didn't realise it referred to a part of the female anatomy at all!

I wonder whether it's ever cropped up in a crossword clue...?

Good on you, We! To the pure ALL is pure.
Twat, in Chambers Dict, also means "to strike viciously" (slang), so it's quite an acceptable word.
