The first surname looks as though it could be ELROY but I don't know of a [famous] boxer with that name; however, the second name could be BASSEY - Hogan 'Kid' Bassey was Nigeria's first world boxing champion [featherweight]. You'll need to check whether you inadvertently put in a '?' after the 'B' as you indicated six letters and then produced B?A?S?Y - which is seven!

As an afterthought, look at the 'E' in the first answer and, if that 'E' was a 'C', then perhaps the surname is CURRY [Donald]. I have looked through various sporting reference books which I have and, believe it or not, there are few boxers with five-letter surnames.
