Times Cryptic 24749
Stuck on 18 ac. I have S.M.T.R.C.; 29 ac. Is this RAMEKIN? and 20 dn. Is this BOGBEAN?
I've really struggled with this one.

yeah, I can see the problem. If they don't give you any clues it makes it really tricky, doesn't it.

29 ac. Greek and Roman deities finish of round dish (7)
20 dn. Ex-pupil turned up and started raising grand marsh plant (7)

1st one....samothrace. (greek island. anagram of thomas +race (derby).
