22d Sermon about combination of interest one commits to memory (7) ?po?ler - I can only fit spooler or spoiler but I can't see why either is correct.

46a Reveal Scottish house of no little breadth (4) i?go

Was anyone else left with a feeling of disappointment after completing this EV?
Not only was it a very easy grid fill but it didn't have the twist it seemed to imply in the preamble.
We were told to consider a revised instruction in the light of 3 & 29,but these added nothing.

Maybe the whole puzzle can be summed up by 3d!

Thanks for your help.

Tony - I found this puzzle at about the right level for me. I usually struggle to make any headway at all with the EV so this week make a nice change. (Saying that I finished last week's puzzle as well so perhaps I'm gettng better!)

Hello
I'm in agreement with you about this week. It's a little deflating not to have a twist at the end. On the other hand I haven't had to pick anyones brain! I saved the listener to have a look at the week, sort of glad I did now.
Good look to all.
