Rather ancient Chinese dictionary shows "hang" as "a shop or store", so it looks OK

Thanks Helena

I had a feeling I hadn't got to the heart of that answer. I've checked with Chambers and I'm glad now I checked!

Just looked up "Hong" which gives "warehouse" which is better.

I went for Hong - but where is the definition for Support - perhaps Hang is a better alternative?

Chambers gives HONG (2) as an obsolete form of HANG or HUNG. HANG (1) as a chinese warehouse. So the answer must be HONG I think.
