Good morning all - how goes it? Nothing too strenuous today once you ignore weights and measures!

Hello S - very easy today - a great one for someone who hasn't tried it before. I'm going crazy trying to find my last one - a simple construction, must be hundreds of possibilites.

It's 18d. The first letter would be marvellous.

Hi, Hope you dont mind me asking but I took your advice and printed this crossword off. I have never done it before and I am a little confused and am looking for a little help. I have a number of letters for 11d and can make a word but there is no clue for 11 down! well quite a few without clues. Any help much appreciated.

Hi Mazie

The Spectator crossword is a themed one and the unclued lights are all of a kind.
To get you started I can tell you that 6 of the clues are proper names, a 7th is two worded proper name any the final one is 1/2 (half) of a well known name.
As you may have gathered the oz in the title is not a weight measure but an abbreviation which will help you discover the theme.
Good luck.
