Hi, Terry, thanks for getting back on this one. I had cactus in, but it crosses with diamond shaped parallelogram or rhombus (7). The only word I could find for this was lozenge, which fits in with a couple of other answers. A better word than lozenge would help.

Dahlia fits and is a mexican plant species.
