15 A. Labyrinthine Minotaur consumed by piteous amphibian (11, two words) -----a-----
Is this ...toad,or am I way off target? Thanks for any help.

6D might be corrode (but I cannot work out an axplanation)

Ah yes! pretty much yield = CED(e) + RATE (v) = rot (v) = to scold, to tease
