I am really struggling with this crossword this week!
I am stuck on the top right corner ie 4 across, 5 down and 6 down.
4A Soldiers on point, note (6) - this certainly ends in K ie ?????K
5D 14 pounds, first gone (4) I have ??T?
6D One to five parts lost (two words) (5)
I have ??S?A

Anyone help?

I now have REMARK for 4A
AT SEA for 6D
but I'm now left with 5D E?T?
it looks like EATS but I can't explain it:
The clue: 14 pounds, first gone (4)

14d by the way is HAS

Could 15d be tone? 14lbs = 1 stone. take away the s.

5d is EATS. Pounds - Beats, drop B, link with 14 is Has, thus Eats - Has.
