I'm stuck on the following -
'Improvised platform for Hyde Park speaker. (7,6)
I've got the first work 'SOAPBOX' but can't get the second one 'A-A-O-'
Any help would be much appreciated - it's driving me mad!

I think your first 'A' must be wrong -- it looks like ORATOR

Yes, I think it must be. Read it as "A soapbox is the platform for a Hyde Park orator"
