just downloaded 91. looks daunting!! first letters would be nice to know :) did one like this some time ago - proper challenge.

Dizoz - I've got a fair way with it by concentrating on the definitions, and in that way I think I've got the four first letters. 24ac and d is a good start!

Ta AJT, I got 24a and am getting a few more, but for me it ain't easy :o)

I'm finding it difficult too - I'm doing it in pencil with lots of crossing out. 24d druggie?

I've finished this now, and my advice is to fill in the grid tentatively with the definitions. This is what I've done, and it seems to have worked out OK. The four letters soon become apparent.

I printed it, looked at it and scanned the clues. Didn't understand the instructions; so the page is on the recycle pile.
