Fate's old wry face behind a pair of Ray-Bans (5) I have MOE?A
Totally failed with this last clue for me. i can see that moe is an old word for wry face but cannot see the name of a fate and what Ray-Bans have to do with it escapes me. Sunglasses? Cookers? Help please.

I can only assume that 'a pair of' means 2 letters from Ray Bans, i.e. RA. It's a bit thin, though! (I'm not familiar with Mephisto, so I don't know how fastidious the clueing is...)
