If you're suffering from phlebitis you must see your doctor.

Then surely you must have been given treatment. If it's your legs, compression tights/stockings should help, i.e support tights

As AJT says you should go to the doctor and he/she is likely to prescribe antibiotics.

Wendy I sympathise for you. If you have any compression stockings/tights do wear them they really will help you. I speak from personal experience and as the others say your dr will probably give you antibiotics for it.

Wendy try keeping the cream in the fridge so it will have a cooking action when you use it.

Poor you, but you must see uour doctor again. Try not to scratch it, you'll make it worse, There's not much you can do tonight - try putting cold compresses on it - soak a towel with cold water and hold iot against the vein
