Can't get 10a (7) 'Fruit in neat jar'. I've got
--a-t-e

Also, is 7d 'kinsman'? If so, where is the 'e' of names. or am I on the wrong track altogether?

It's an anagram of neat jar and the fruit is naartje,which is Afrikaans for a type of tangerine

Hi Jaybee. re kinsman. I took 1001 as ki, names as nn, and that leaves sam, giving anagram for kinsman.

My very last question is - 11a - (5) 'Kid's space badge'. I've got t-t-m and am thinking 'totem' although can't really see why/ Any ideas?
