Artist, evangelist, man in charge of royal castle (4, 9 )

I do have other letters but not at all sure that they are correct so I've left them out!
Guess it's John (Constable?) Any suggestions please ?

I think 'staler' is correct. 's' is short for shilling and 'taler' is an alternative spelling of 'thaler' which is an old unit of German currency.
