Hi, I think the answer to 2 down is Giddy, but can't work out why, other than it means dizzy.
I have G-D-Y. It is my last one to get.
Can someone tell me if it is the answer and why please. Many thanks.

I've traced the clue which I understand was:

dizzy guy - one theologian for the university

Ans: IDD (one theologian) in GY (i.e. remove the U in guy and replace it with IDD).

= giddy

Giddy.....take the G for Guy, add one Doctor of Divinity (IDD) and the Y for Yale University = GIDDY
