Usual problem!
6 Down -" Man doesn't start to cut in" (5). I had "- N - A -" and the answer is "INLAY". Not my first thought to do with cutting in but where's the setter coming from?
Little grey cell just switched on - could the man be FINLAY? "D-oh"!
